Throughout 2021-2022 hundreds of thousands of disparate Victorians who lost their jobs, livelihoods and ability to fully participate in society - nurses, teachers, fire fighters, small business operators and other ordinary people, marched the streets of Melbourne protesting against Covid -19 mandates. Monumento documents the impact of Covid‑related measures, examining public narratives around crisis and control, and how they were experienced in everyday life.
